The Al-Chouf Cedars Nature Reserve is 50 km far from Beirut, covering two percent of the total area of Lebanon. It consists of three major forests, accounting for a quarter of the remaining cedar forests of Lebanon. In the reserve, 2000 year old trees can be found as well as various species of mountain birds, plants and mammals such as wolves and Lebanese jungle cats.
All nature addicts will be thrilled in this spot of "paradise". Hike may run from easy level to difficult and will be adjusted to the group level.
